Limebrook Studios “I’m taking off, and dropping in on my next statue for Dana Point’s Waterman’s Plaza. This time the subject (see photo) is the Matchless, magnificent, Mickey the “Mongoose” Munoz, fearlessly and flawlessly flexing the famed, superb and singular, surfing stance known as “The Quasimodo.” This cool configuration was choreographed, and created, and performed by the preeminent Mongoose himself. It’s perhaps the most famous surf stance ever known by name. Dana Point’s distinguished, and dazzling surfing history is definitely deep and dynamic. A past that positively sets a precious precedent for our posterity, and subsequent surfing successors. We have much to be grateful for.”
