T-Shirts

The Dana Point Historical t-shirts feature our logo which is of the hide drogher.  Richard Henry Dana Jr. wrote his famous book titled Two Years before the Mast that captured his adventure from Boston to California. He wrote about this hide industry. See the life sized sculpture, depicting one of the 19th century sailors who used to toss local cowhides from the cliffs to trade for goods from the ships below at Blufftop Trail between Amber Lantern and Violet Lantern.

The shirt represents the city’s rich history and heritage. The nautical themes reflect Dana Point’s coastal location and maritime history. Collect our variety of styles which include a white and blue colors.

All prices include Sales Tax. Society members receive a 10% discount on merchandise purchases. All merchandise may be purchased at the Museum Store located at 33282 Golden Lantern, Suite 104, Dana Point (in the City Hall Plaza near the corner of Golden Lantern and Acapulco). Museum hours- 1pm to 3pm Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.
