The Dana Point Historical Society has awarded The Doris I. Walker Memorial $1,000 Scholarship to Riann Martino, (pictured left) of Dana Hills High School. The Lucy Chavarrias-Saunderson $1,000 Memorial Scholarship was presented to Jaclyn Ruedisueli, (right) of San Juan Hills High School. Come and meet these deserving young ladies and their families at our annual Scholarship Fiesta Dinner Fundraiser on June 21 at 6 p.m. at Doheny State Beach! Jack Saunderson’s El Patio Café is preparing his popular traditional Mexican cuisine. Tickets are $25-$30 for Society members and $30-$35 for non-members. Please send your reservations in advance for a $5 savings per person and help to give Jack Saunderson an estimate on the number of people who will be attending.
